Jul 3, 2012 by

JP Barnaby’s epic series, Little Boy Lost, reaches its culmination this week, with the publication of her sixth and final book in the series, Sacrificed.  The series follows the lives of Brian and Jamie, two young boys growing up in the Bible Belt, whose lives are torn apart by hate and intolerance. Can their love stay strong through the worst that life can throw at them?

Micah (Mike) is a young man with troubles of his own, but who finds ways to help Brian and Jamie work through some of the difficulties that beset them as they try to find their ways back to each other. Here, we talk with Mike, and learn more about this kind and fascinating man.

SPOILER ALERT: IN HIS EXCITEMENT, MICAH GIVES AWAY THE ENDING TO THE FINAL BOOK IN THE LITTLE BOY LOST SERIES. IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO HEAR THAT ENDING AND READ IT FOR YOURSELF, PLEASE MUTE THE VIDEO FROM 07:13 – 07:22.

This series was amazing and the final book was the perfect ending! And isn’t the interview with Micah fantastic? Maybe someday in the future we can hope for an update on all the boys!

Oh, I’d love to see more! I felt so very honored and excited when JP said I could host this interview – Mike was one of my favorite characters! But I’d love to see some with the others…!

I love all of the boys from the Little Boy Lost series, and I may do a couple of spin-offs in the future – maybe a future Brian & Jamie book, time will tell. For right now, though, I really want to do other things. LOL :)

  2. JP there is no doubt that your Little Boy Lost series is a hit with readers. The richness and depth of your characters that you have maintain throughout the series is what sets you apart.

However I have never seen anything like this before where an m/m author does a video interview of the person who inspired her character. Maybe it is done all the time and I have just been under my “rock” too long.

    But this was done flawlessly.

JP did an excellent job and I could not believe “Micah’s” voice and movements as he was being interview, just perfection. A big thank you to both of you for making this video, I loved every minute of it.

And thank you to Rowan Speedwell for putting together this post for us all.
